マルカントニオは、舞台美術と伝統的彫刻を背景に持つマルチディシプリナリー・アーティストです。美術学校と美術アカデミーで学び、キャリアをスタートさせました。
2001年以降、アートとインダストリアルデザインの融合に取り組み、彫刻的かつ感情的な予測不可能さを持つ作品を展開。記憶を刺激するようなイメージを、挑発的な視点で再構築するスタイルで注目され、イタリアを代表するアートデザイナーのひとりとして国際的に評価されています。
自身のブロンズ彫刻作品の制作に加え、Armani、Natuzzi、Qeeboo、Seletti、Horm、United Pets、Guzzini、Slide、Mogg、Cangini & Tucci、Scarlet Splendour、Mr&Mrs、Yoyo、Opinion Ciatti、Scapin、Broswayといった著名ブランドとのコラボレーションも行っています。
Marcantonio is a multidisciplinary artist with roots in set design and classical sculpture. Since 2001, he has blended art and industrial design, creating emotionally charged works known for their sculptural unpredictability and evocative imagery.
In addition to limited-edition bronze pieces, he collaborates with brands such as Armani, Natuzzi, Qeeboo, Seletti, Horm, United Pets, Guzzini, Slide, Mogg, Cangini & Tucci, Scarlet Splendour, Mr&Mrs, Yoyo, Opinion Ciatti, Scapin, and Brosway.
