cHUBBYNIDA

チャニダ・アリーワタナソンバット（ChubbyNida）は、バンコクを拠点に活動するイラストレーター兼アニメーターで、人間の感情や人間関係、日常生活を題材に作品を制作しています。2011年にイラストレーションの活動を始め、その後、ロンドンのキングストン大学でイラストレーション・デザインの修士号を取得しました。主にイラスト、アニメーション、ミクストメディアを扱っています。

作品はストーリー性を重視しており、日常の出来事や個人的な気づきから発想を得ることが多いです。制作はラフスケッチから始め、構図や内容を整理した後、完成形やストーリーボードに仕上げます。デジタルとアナログの両方を使用しています。今後は、より長い形式の作品や幅広い表現に取り組んでいく予定です。

Chanida Areewatanasombat (ChubbyNida) is a Bangkok-based illustrator and animator whose work explores human emotions, relationships, and everyday life. She began her illustration journey in 2011 and later earned a Master’s degree in Illustration Design from Kingston University London. Her practice spans illustration, animation, and mixed media, creating emotionally driven narratives through simple yet expressive forms.

Chanida’s work is rooted in storytelling, often starting from small emotional moments or personal observations. Her process begins with loose sketches to explore mood and composition, then develops into refined visuals or storyboards. She works across both digital and traditional media. Her goal is to expand into longer-form storytelling and more immersive work, while continuing to create emotionally honest and accessible visuals.
