マルコ・オッギアンとサミュエル・カナイによるクリエイティブ・デュオ「ブルット・スタジオ」は、ポコギャラリー東京にて「ハイパーオブジェクト」展を開催します。この展覧会では、ブルットの全ラインナップに加え、厳選されたファインアートプリントやユニークな作品も展示されます。
ブルットにとって、それぞれの作品は単なる美的芸術品ではありません。魂を宿し、持ち主一人ひとりの物語を紡ぎ出すことのできるオブジェなのです。この人間と物語の繋がりこそが、彼らの作品制作の核となっています。
マルコとサミュエルは、本物のデザインは高貴な台座に閉じ込められるのではなく、人々の手、家、そして日々の生活の中に息づくべきだと信じています。
ブルットのメッセージは、率直で簡潔、そして本質的に民主的です。彼らはアートやデザインが、限られた少数の者だけが享受できる特権であるという考えを否定し、誰もがアクセスできる言語を提唱しています。
本展に展示される作品はどれも、フィルターや障壁なしに誰もが理解し、使い、愛されるようにデザインされています。
Creative duo Marco Oggian and Samuel Canay will present ‘Hyper Object’ at Pocko Gallery Tokyo, an exhibition featuring the complete range of Brutto-branded objects together with a curated selection of fine art prints and unique pieces.
For Brutto, each creation is more than a mere aesthetic artifact, it is an object with a soul, capable of inspiring a personal story for its owner. This human and narrative connection is central to their practice.
Brutto believes that authentic design should live in people’s hands, homes, and everyday lives, rather than being locked away on a pedestal.
The studio’s messages are direct, concise, and inherently democratic. Brutto rejects the idea that art and design are privileges reserved for a select few, advocating instead for a language accessible to everyone.
Each piece included in this exhibition is conceived to be understood, used, and loved by the public, without filters or barriers.
ブルットスタジオについて：
ビジュアルアーティストであるマルコ・オッギアンと、アートディレクターのサミュエル・カナイがスペインに設立したクリエイティブスタジオ。
ブルット(Brutto)はイタリアでは日常会話で「醜い」を意味する言葉ですが、彼らは「醜さというものは、美の存在があって初めて存在できるもの。私たちにとって美しいものは醜く、醜いものは美しい。」と述べています。
型破りなものを受け入れて、空間を創造性の聖域へと変容させることで美の概念を再定義し、洗練されたアートとデザインをすべての人に届けるべく、さまざまなプロジェクトのクリエイティブを手がけています。
About the Artist :
Brutto is a creative studio founded in Spain by visual artist Marco Ojan and art director Samuel Canai.
‘Brutto’ is an Italian word that means "ugly" in everyday conversation, but they state that "ugliness can only exist in the presence of beauty. For us, what is beautiful is ugly, and what is ugly is beautiful."
By embracing the unconventional and transforming spaces into sanctuaries of creativity, we redefine the concept of beauty and work on a variety of creative projects to bring sophisticated art and design to everyone.
